The new school year is off to a great start! I am hoping to get this out to others as soon as I am more comfortable. Maybe parents would be interested! We will see!

Summer Reading

During my summer I have been reading The Blue Nowhere for one of my classes. I also like to read to my children and we like the book Piggies. What books have you been reading? Ask Mom or Dad to help you post a comment to let me know!

Summer Learning

I am taking a lot of my summer vacation to learn more about technology. Computers are an area I want to learn more about. The classes I am taking are moving me out of my comfort zone, and into a new world.

I am also teaching summer school at Ell-Saline. We are all learning more about math in my class. We have worked with numbers, place value, time, and measurement. We will continue to work with addition and subtraction. In the weeks to come we will work with geometry, graphing, and money.
